PETERSEN MEDIA- As the 2024 season approaches and schedules get curated, the Torgerson Racing team is excited to, pay it forward, and offer ride opportunities at several marquee Micro races in the season ahead with Ashton Torgerson turning his attention to Midgets and Sprint Cars.

“We have been fortunate to have a great run in the Micro ranks over the years, and we have a great group of partners behind us,” Danny Torgerson said. “With Ashton (Torgerson) moving away from Micros, we have a very strong and capable car in our camp still that we’d like to use to pay it forward and provide a cool opportunity to a few drivers this year. We have a few seats open to a driver who may not have the means to get to some of these big micro races that take place all over the country, or even a pavement driver who wants to try their hand on dirt. This is truly a way for us to give back to this class, and this is not a rental opportunity in any form.”

To any driver that takes the Torgerson Racing team up on this ‘Pay It Forward-Race it Forward’ opportunity, they simply will only need to arrive to the track and hop in their car. The team will take care of entry fees, race costs, and will supply a full crew. As an added bonus, the driver will also take any winnings they earn during the night of action. The only cost will be personal travel to the track.

“We will take care of it all just as if it were one of our boys driving,” Danny Torgerson said. “The kicker is, we are only offering this to current racers who may not have the means to run a ton of races, they’re possibly doing in all they can in their equipment and may be getting out spent in some aspects, or even a great kid that has talent and just needs a chance.”

Some of the events that this opportunity will be available at include the Dan Steffey Western States Championship at Adobe Mountain Speedway in February, the KKM Give Back event in CA, the Grandma Pam race, the Turkey Bowl, the Hagopian Memorial, as well as some of the upper tier race in Oklahoma and Illinois.

“We are really excited to have our first driver lined up for this at the Dan Steffey Western State Championships,” Torgerson added. “Adrianna Timmerman of Iowa will be aboard one of our cars and we are excited to get things kicked off.”

Timmerman recently took part in the team’s session at Port City before the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals where they shook their equipment down with the Mounce Stout Motorsports team.

The Iowa native began racing Karts back in 2019, and has racked up a total of 45 wins and one track championship over the course of her young career. The well rounded 17-year-old who is also the current Miss Fruitland winner, is eager about the opportunity to race with the Torgerson family as she continues to progress her career.

The Torgerson’s are also pleased to announce that several companies have came aboard for this program including Inferno Armor who will be giving each driver a bottle of their new product, MyRacePass who is offering up a free one-year subscription, and Maxwell Patrick Photography who will provide a complete photo package to all drivers who take part in this opportunity.
